Comeen enables seamless integration with LumApps, allowing organizations to display intranet content such as News and Community Posts directly on their digital signage. This feature enhances internal communication by ensuring that on-site employees stay informed and engaged with the latest updates from their company's LumApps platform.
To enable Comeen to retrieve information from LumApps, you need to follow these steps..
1 - Create an external user
The external account created doesn't need to represent a real user, it can use fictitious information. We recommend setting its purpose in the user name, last name, or full name in order to quickly identify the user.
The email address doesn't need to really exist in the customer directory. It can be for example comeenplay@customer.com
As the application will use this account to perform actions on the LumApps customer API, the application will have the exact same permissions as the external account linked, so it will need to have access to the communities you want to display on the screens.
2 - Create Comeen Play app in LumApps
This needs to be done by a LumApps global administrator.
-
Enable OAuth app manager in the administration > Platform > Extensions > Extension library.
-
Search oauth.
- Go to Installed extensions .
-

- Go to settings of the app, then Add an OAuth application .
-
Set app name (should be "Comeen Play") → Click Save.
