The Screen Monitoring Alerts feature is designed to keep you informed about the status of your screens. This feature ensures that you are promptly notified via email if a specific screen or any screen within a group of screens becomes disconnected.
You can configure the disconnection delay before an email alert is sent, as well as set a specific period to monitor—whether it be all day, within a certain hour range, or only while the screen is not in sleep mode.
In this article, we will guide you through the process of configuring screen monitoring alerts, so you can stay on top of your screen statuses and ensure uninterrupted content display.
1. Navigate to the settings page of your space
2. Go to the "Monitoring alerts" tab
3. Click on the "Create alert" button
4. Fill in the following information:
-
- Alert name: We recommend using a descriptive name that includes details such as the screens concerned.
- Emails to notify: Add the list of email addresses that will receive the alert.
- Language: Choose the preferred language for the alert notifications.
- Alert type: Select "Screen Offline Status"
5. By default, the alert will be triggered when any screen gets disconnected. If you want to monitor a specific screen group, select the "Display Groups" tab.
6. Determine the grace period: This is the amount of time that will pass before an alert is sent when a screen goes offline.
7. Select the monitoring period:
-
- All Day: Screens are monitored 24/7.
- Hour Range: An alert is triggered only if a screen gets disconnected within the configured hour range.
- Not in Sleep Mode: Screens are monitored 24/7 except when they are in sleep mode.
8. Finally, click "Save"
From now on, when a screen goes offline and your alert criteria are met, you will receive an email notification informing you of the issue.
