The Authenticated Dashboards feature in Comeen allows users to seamlessly access and display specific dashboards, such as those from Looker Studio. By utilizing a dedicated Google account, known as a Passport, users can ensure secure and efficient management of their dashboards.
This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough for creating and broadcasting a dashboard within Comeen, making it easier to manage and share dashboard content across your organization.
Prerequisite
- Ensure you have a Passport created on Comeen, which is a dedicated Google account used to access dashboards.
Step 1: Creating a Dashboard
- Navigate to the Dashboards page in Comeen.
- Click on the "+ Dashboards" button.

Select the type of dashboard you want to create. For this example, we will use Looker Studio
- Provide a name for your dashboard and select the users who will have access to this dashboard.
- Click "Save".
- Select your Passport. This is the Google account that will access the dashboard.
⚠️ Warning: The account behind your Passport needs to have access to this dashboard
7. Enter the URL of your dashboard.
ℹ️ Information: The dashboard screenshot will be taken from this URL and displayed exactly as it appears in your browser. If possible, use an export/embed URL for best results.
8. Click on "Load dashboard" to preview it.
9. If everything appears correctly, click "Save".
Step 2: Broadcasting the Dashboard
- Navigate to your playlist.
- Click on "Add content".
- Choose "Dashboards" as the content type and click "Next".

Provide a name for your dashboard content, set the slide duration, and choose your newly created dashboard from the list.
- Click "Save" to finalize the broadcasting settings.
