Setting Up Comeen on Neat Pad

Prerequisites

• Access to Neat Pulse: You must have administrative access to pulse.neat.nopulse.neat.no
• Paired Neat Devices: Ensure your Neat devices are paired and visible within the Neat Pulse hub. Refer to Neat’s official documentation for guidance.

Step 1: Create the Comeen App on Neat Pulse

1. Access Neat Pulse:
   • Navigate to pulse.neat.no in your web browser.
2. Add a New App:
   • Go to the "Apps" section.
   • Under "Room Availability", click on "Add App" to start creating a new application.
3. Configure the App:
   • Name: Enter a recognizable name for your app, like "Comeen Play."
   • URL: In the URL field, input the following address: https://display.dynamicscreen.xyz/golem/?model=neat
4. Select "Scheduling display"
5. Select the installation method of the application on your devices:
   • Option A - Automatic installation: The Comeen application will be automatically installed on every device paired to your Neat Hub
   • Option B - Manual installation: You'll choose on which specific device you'll want to install the Comeen Application

1. Save the Configuration:
   • Ensure all details are correctly filled out, and then save the new app configuration.

Step 2: Install and Set Up Comeen Play on Neat Pad

Automatic Installation

• If you selected automatic installation during Step 1, the app will be deployed to all devices paired with the hub. No further action is required for installation.

Manual Installation

1. Go to "Devices":
   • Navigate to the "Devices" section within Neat Pulse.
2. Select a Device:
   • Choose the specific device you wish to install Comeen Play on.
3. Open Device Settings:
   • In the pop-up that opens, navigate to the Device Settings section.
4. Select the App:
   • Under the "App" subsection, select the Comeen Play app you created earlier.
5. Finalize Installation:
   • Confirm the selection to install the app on the chosen device.

Step 3: Configure Device Settings

1. Display Settings:
   • Navigate to Device Settings > Display.
   • Configure options for Screen Standby, Auto Wake Up, and other display settings according to your needs.
   ⚠️ Warning: The sleep mode property configurable on Comeen will not function on Neat Pads.

    
2. Time and Language Settings:
   • Navigate to Device Settings > Time and Language.
   • Configure the following options:
     • 24-hour time: On/Off
     • Date Format
     • NTP Server: Ensure accurate time synchronization.
     • Time Zone
     • Temperature Units

Profile Creation (Optional)

1. In the Profiles section, click on Add Profile.
2. Choose a name for the new profile.
3. In the Apps section, choose Kiosk Mode.
4. You’ll be able to configure the same settings as described in Step 3 according to your needs.
5. Click Save to confirm the configuration.

You can now apply this profile to a device by navigating to: Devices > select your device > Assign profile
