Key requirements and limitations:
- The URL you wish to broadcast must be secure (https).
- The website must allow its content to be embedded on a third-party site via an iframe. If iframe embedding is not permitted, the content can still be broadcasted, but only on ChromeOS and Windows players. You can verify if your URL is embeddable using this tool
- It is not possible to broadcast websites that require login/password authentication.
- For internal company websites, ensure that the network the player is connected to has access to the website and possesses all necessary security certificates.
1. Navigate to your playlist, and click on "Add a content"
2. Select "Website", and click on "Next"
3. Enter the name of the content and the URL you want to broadcast
4. If you want to refresh the content of your page after a specific interval, enable the toggle and enter the desired delay
5. Finally, click on "Save "
How can I verify if my URL allows iframe embedding?
You can use an online tool to check if a URL allows iframe embedding. Here’s how:
1. Navigate to the iframe tester tool
2. Paste your URL into the tool and click "Render iframe."
3. If your website is displayed within the iframe, it means that the URL allows iframe embedding. If you see an error message, as shown in the screenshot below, it indicates that the URL does not allow iframe embedding.
