Installing Comeen
Step 1: Update Firmware and Install the ProDVX API
1. Go to Settings > About tablet > Android version to identify the current Android version installed on your device.
2. Download the corresponding firmware ZIP file from the links below.
The downloaded ZIP file contains another file named update.zip.
3. Apply the firmware update
Copy the
update.zipfile to the root directory of a FAT32-formatted SD card or USB stick.Plug it into the powered-on device.
The Android system should automatically detect the update file and prompt you to install it. Confirm to proceed.
If no prompt appears, go to Settings > About tablet > System update and manually check for the update.
⚠️ Warning: Make sure the USB-stick is FAT32 formatted when using it for updates.
4. Open Settings, search for "Reset", and select "Erase all data (factory reset)" from the results to perform a factory reset.
5. After the reboot, follow the ProDVX Setup Wizard and during the configuration steps, install the ProDVX API when prompted.
Step 2: USB key preparation
Download the Comeen apk: https://devices.play.comeen.com/android/app-armeabi-v7a-release.apk
Add apk on the USB key.
Step 3: Launch Comeen app
Once the device has restarted
Go to the Menu(swipe to the top) and click on "Files":
Click on USB drive and select the app-release:
Click on "Install":
and "Open".
Step 3: Onboarding
Start onboarding
Give Storage access:
Give authorization for Manage overlay, click on Authorize and active Permit drawing over other apps:
System check:
Click on Continue:
Click on Finish:
Step 4: Setting Up Comeen
Once the Comeen application is installed on your Tablet, you see a paring screen like:
Log in to your Comeen interface https://login.new.play.comeen.com/
Navigate to the Displays page and click on "Associate a Player":
Now enter the code that appears on the player screen:
Enter your screen details, then simply click 'Save' to proceed.
