How to Broadcast Video Content

With Comeen, sharing video content is simple and efficient. This guide explains how to add videos from your library, Google Drive, or OneDrive , configure playback settings like volume, and AI-generated subtitles, and deploy them to your displays.

Follow these steps to deliver impactful and engaging content effortlessly .

Prerequisites

  1. Connect your Google or Microsoft account(s). This step is optional, but is required in order to import videos from these drives.

Add Video Content to Your Playlist

  1. Go to the Playlists tab.

  2. Click on + New Playlist.

  3. Create the new playlist.

  4. Click + Add content.

  5. Select the Video option.

Option 1: Import from the Library

  1. Select the Library option.

  2. Click Choose a file from the library . Then select the name of your folder.

Option 2: Import from Google Drive

  1. For Google, you will have 2 options. You can either pull the video from your Google Drive directly or you can paste the URL.

    1. Click Select a video from Google Drive , click the folder, then select the video.

    2. Click Use the Document URL , then paste the URL.

      1. ⚠️ Please note that to import a video via its URL, it must be publicly accessible or shared with [email protected]

Option 3: Import from OneDrive

  1. For Microsoft, you will have the option to pull it directly from your OneDrive.

  2. Click Select a Video from OneDrive . Then select the folder then file that you wish to upload.

Deploying the Video

  1. Once you select the video file, you will have several options to configure including our new AI-Generated video subtitles . Click Save once you're done.

  2. The video is now available in your playlist.

  3. It's highly recommended that you review and configure the following parameters within the original file as they can impact the video on screen.

    1. Volume - If the 'Mute' property toggle is off, the configured volume will be applied directly to your screens.

    2. Fullscreen - Setting the video to screen will force the video to full screen in the playlist.

    3. Subtitles - If subtitles are already on, they will override the AI-generated subtitles you create.
