Managing users is a vital part of leveraging Comeen's capabilities for your organization. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of user management features, including how to create users, assign roles, and organize user groups, ensuring that your team can work efficiently and securely.

Prerequisites

To effectively manage users in Comeen, ensure you have:

  • Administrative access to the Comeen platform.

  • A clear understanding of your organizational structure for assigning roles and groups appropriately.

Creating a New User

  1. Access the Users section from the main dashboard.

  2. Click on Add a User to begin creating a new user.

  3. Input essential information such as the user's name, email, and assign a role.

  4. Optionally, allocate the user to a group to automatically inherit group-specific access rights.

  5. Click Save to finalize the user creation process.

Managing User Roles

  1. Navigate to the Roles page to view existing roles or create new ones.

  2. Click on Create to define a new role with specific permissions.

  3. Specify the permissions linked to the role, such as resource access or administrative capabilities.

  4. Assign to Users: Allocate roles to users based on their responsibilities within the organization.

Organizing User Groups

  1. Access the User Groups section from the dashboard.

  3. Enter group information, such as name and description, and add users to this group.

Setting Access Rights

  1. Determine access rights for various resources within Comeen (e.g., screens, playlists).

  4. Save the configurations to apply the access rights.
