Adding SharePoint information into a Template
-
Click on "Designer" in the left-hand menu, then click "New Template".
-
Provide a name for your template and click "Save".
-
Start from scratch or select one of the pre-designed models available for convenience.
-
In this example, we are using a model to save time and show how easy it is to connect your information.
-
Select a component within your template and locate the Data Source option on the right-hand side.
-
Click the data source icon and choose the SharePoint data source you created earlier.
-
Map the SharePoint columns to the corresponding template elements (e.g., title, thumbnail).
-
Then select the corresponding column for each element of your template (title for the title of your presentation, thumbnail for the image, etc.).
-
If your data source contains multiple rows, specify which row’s information to display.
-
Save your template by clicking the "Save" button once all updates are made.
Broadcasting your Template
-
Navigate to your playlists or create a new one.
-
Click "Add Content" and select "Template".
-
Choose the template you created earlier and define the number of pages to display.
-
Keep in mind that using multiple pages allows you to display the next news items. For example, displaying 3 pages allows you to show data from the first three rows of your SharePoint data source.
-
Once added, your playlist will display your SharePoint-fed template. This ensures your audience stays updated with the latest news and information.
