The Playlist Monitoring Alerts feature ensures you stay informed about the status of your playlists. By setting up these alerts, you will receive timely email notifications whenever a playlist schedule is nearing its end. This allows you to take prompt action and maintain uninterrupted content display across your screens.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to configure monitoring alerts, explain the key settings available, and provide tips for optimal setup.
Setting up Monitoring Alerts
- Navigate to the Settings page of your space. This is where you can manage various configurations, including monitoring alerts.
- Go to the Monitoring Alerts tab.
- Click the Create Alert button to start configuring a new alert.
- In the alert creation form, you will need to provide the following information:
- Alert Name: Use a descriptive name that identifies the playlists being monitored. For example, "Weekly News Playlist Alert."
- Emails to Notify: List the email addresses of recipients who should be notified when the alert is triggered.
- Language: Select the preferred language for the email notifications.
- Alert Type: Choose the option “Playlist End Schedule” to monitor when a playlist is nearing its end.
-
Switch to the Manual Selection tab.
-
Go to down Targets, select the playlists you wish to monitor.
-
The grace period determines how far in advance you will receive an alert before a playlist’s schedule ends. Set this value according to your needs—for example, 1 day or 1 hour before the playlist expires.
-
Once you confirm all the details are correct, click the Save button to activate your alert.
After saving your alert, the system will monitor the selected playlists based on your criteria. When a playlist schedule is about to end, an email notification will be sent to the specified recipients, allowing you to take necessary actions before the content goes offline.
Stay ahead of your content management with Playlists Monitoring Alerts to ensure seamless operations and uninterrupted displays.
