1. Installing Comeen Play on your screen
1.1. Press the "MENU" button on your remote control.
1.2. Navigate to the "System" tab.
1.3. Select "Start Setup"
1.4. Choose your preferred screen language.
1.5. Select your network connection (Wi-Fi or wired)
1.6. Accept the terms and conditions
1.7. Specify the display orientation
1.8. Select "Custom App":
1.9. Enter the URL for Comeen Play app: https://devices.play.comeen.com/tizen/@golem
1.10. The RM server connection is optional, you can skip it.
1.11. You can also skip the "Device on Server" step.
1.12. Select "Off"
Automatic launch
To configure your screen to launch Comeen Play upon startup automatically, follow these steps:
1.14. Access your screen's menu and navigate to System > Auto Source Switching
1.15. Under Auto Source Switching, choose Preset input
1.16. For Secondary Source, select Custom App
From now on, when the screen is turned on, the Comeen Play application will automatically launch.
Once done, you will need to interact with someone from the IT team so they can use the pairing code appearing on your screen to associate it.
Make sure to give them the US pairing code.
2. Associate my screen
To associate a new screen, connect your screen with the Comeen Play application
If the network is well configured, you will see this screen:
1. Navigate to the Displays page and click on "Associate a Player"
2. Now enter the code that appears on the player screen
3. Enter your screen details, then simply click 'Save' to proceed.
Your screen is now associated with this player and is ready to broadcast your playlists!
3. Configure the metadatas
2. Go to "Metadata" tab
4. Enter the name and value of your metadata, then click on 'Create'.
Your metadata has been added to your screen. Modify or delete it using the icons on the right.
Once your metadatas are set up, they should be looking like this (while respecting the information specific to this screen).
4. Broadcast a playlist
There are two ways to broadcast a playlist on one or more screens.
4.A. Broadcasting from a playlist
4.A.1. From your playlist, click on the "Target Screens" tab.
4.A.2. Depending on your needs, click on "Add" below Displays or Displays groups
4.A.3. Add the screen(s) / screens group(s) on which you want to play the playlist. Once added the playlist will play on the screens automatically.
4.B. Broadcasting from a screen or a group of screens
4.B.1. From the settings of your screen(s) or group of screens, click on the "Playlists" tab:
4.B.2. Click on Playlists and select one of the methods below:
- linked directly to select each screen on which the playlist is broadcast
- linked through groups to link this display to a group of displays that are/will be associated with a playlist
4.B.3. Add the playlist(s) you want to play on the screen or group of screens:
4.B.4. Click on Add.
5. Schedule a playlist
Planning helps reinforce internal communication, promote brand image, and optimize message effectiveness.
By structuring the content to be broadcast on screens, managers can ensure that information or messages are delivered in a fluid and relevant way. Planning helps create a visual narrative flow, adapting content to key moments of the day and anticipating the target audience's needs. It also offers the possibility of synchronizing messages with special events and measuring communication effectiveness.
In short, playlist planning in digital signage optimizes the impact of each screen, ensuring that the right message is delivered at the right time, thus reinforcing the effectiveness of visual communication.
5.1. To begin, go to the playlist you want to schedule.
5.2. At the top of your playlist, click on " Planning ":
5.3 Click on "+ Add a period":
You can choose between two types of period
5.A. Add a broadcast range
This type of period allows to continually broadcast content between two defined dates.
5.A.1. Choose Start Date and End Date:
5.A.2. Click on "Save".
5.B. Add a recurring rule
Broadcast content daily, weekly, or monthly.
5.B.1. Select the recurrence you want to assign to this playlist, the time it starts and ends, and when the recurring rule is over.
5.B.2. Click on "Save" for your schedule to be set up.
Your playlist is now scheduled and will be played at the times and dates you set.
