How to install our visitors management application for iOS

Introduction

Comeen helps you with the entire visitors management process and all their visits.

We offer a Kiosk application that allows your visitors to register themselves when they arrive at your office.

Step 1: Set up Guided Access

Guided Access restricting iPad to a single app, and allowing you to control which app features are available. You can do any of the following:

  • Disable areas of the screen that aren’t relevant.

  • Disable the iPad hardware buttons

  • Disable exiting the app

To do this

  1. Open Ipad Settings, go to Accessibility > Guided Access:

  2. Activate Guided Access:

  3. And define your password:

Step 1: Set up your Kiosk

  1. Start by following this documentation.

  2. Once your kiosk has been created, retrieve its association code and keep it.

  3. Go to the Building > Kiosk tab and click on the name of your kiosk:

  4. Copy the code:

Step 2: Install our app for iOS

  1. Go to the App Store

  2. Type comeen in the search bar and download the app shown below

  3. Once downloaded, open the app

  4. You will see this screen appear, click on Begin Installation


  5. Click on Next once the needed permissions are given

  6. Select the mode Visitor and click on Next

  7. Then enter the pairing code you got from Comeen Workplace and click on Confirm


  8. Once done, you will see your Visitor kiosk appear!

Step 3 (optional): Associate your kiosk with a badge printer

If you have enabled badge printing when creating your kiosk in Comeen :

  1. Ensure your iPad's Bluetooth is enabled.

  2. Set up your Brother QL-820NWB or QL-810W printer, ensuring it is connected to power and paired with the iPad.

  3. Follow the printer's setup instructions to configure language, date, and template settings.

ℹ️ Please note: Only the Brother DK-22251 paper roll works with the supported Brother printer models.

Step 4: Activate the guided access to lock the iPad on our app

To do so, just triple-click on the Top button.

Your kiosk is now set up and ready to welcome visitors with a seamless check-in process. If you have opted for badge printing, ensure your printer is properly configured and paired with your kiosk.
