If you don't install the firmware with the root option, we won't be able to update our application.
Requirements:
1 x USB stick
Keyboard / Mouse
Preparing a firmware update key
Format it and make sure the file system is FAT32.
Notice: This step will wipe all data from the USB flash drive.
To avoid loss of data, please make a backup before proceeding with this step.Get latest firmware version with root option (if you do not have the firmware or are unsure of the version, please contact Comeen support), rename the file to update.zip and copy it to the USB flash drive.
Install the Firmware update
Start Player
Select your language:
Skip Setup:
Plug a firmware update key.
Click to "Install":
Wait for the end of the loading process:
Click to "No" :
Factory Reset
To enable the root option, we need to reset the player before installing the application.
Click on the arrow:
Open Settings:
Open System:
Click on Reset options:
Select Erase all data:
Click on Reset Tablet:
Click on Erase Everything:
Once the player has restarted, you can move on to the next step.
