Comeen enables you to display live web pages on your screens, perfect for showcasing public dashboards, live metrics, or other web-based resources. This feature integrates seamlessly into your playlists, ensuring dynamic and engaging content. However, some technical requirements must be met to ensure compatibility.
Prerequisites:
Secure URL: The URL must use HTTPS to guarantee secure connections.
iframe Embedding: The website must allow its content to be embedded in a third-party site using an iframe. For URLs that don’t support iframe embedding, broadcasting will only work on ChromeOS and Windows players.
Authentication Restrictions: Websites requiring login credentials cannot be displayed.
Internal Websites: For internal company sites, ensure the player’s network has access and all necessary security certificates are installed.
Add a Web Page to Your Playlist
Navigate to your playlist, and click on + Add content.
Select Website and click Next.
Enter the name and URL of the content you want to broadcast.
If you want the page content to refresh at regular intervals, enable the toggle and specify the desired delay (in seconds).
Finally, click Save.
Verify if my URL allows iframe embedding
Open an online iframe tester tool, such as iframe Tester Tool.
Paste your URL into the tool and click Render iframe.
If the website displays within the iframe, embedding is supported.
If an error message appears (e.g., "refused to connect"), the URL does not allow iframe embedding.
