This guide will help you synchronize your users and Google Groups from Google Cloud Identity with Comeen Workplace.
Prerequisites
Google Admin Account: The Google account used must have the necessary permissions to access and manage the groups and users you wish to synchronize.
Permissions setup
The service account used in this step-by-step guide to synchronize users must be a manager of the user group. The group access settings must also allow managers to view all group members (screenshot below).
⚠️ Warning: If the user group contains nested subgroups, the service account must have the same permissions on each subgroup. Otherwise, the synchronization with Comeen will fail and the user group will remain empty.
Step-by-Step Guide
Log in to your Comeen Workplace admin dashboard.
Click on Settings > Integrations and select Google Workspace.
Click on "Sign in with Google" below the option to allow Google Groups & Users synchronization from Google Cloud Identity.
Choose the Google account that will be used to connect this integration and click on Allow.
Once authorized, go to the Users and Groups tabs and click "Manage Google Workspace Groups"
Select the user groups you want to synchronize.
⚠️ Warning: If user groups are not appearing on this page, please locate your Google Workspace customer ID and reach out to our support team for assistance.
7. Click on Save at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.
8. Your selected groups and users will now be synchronized with Comeen Workplace.
