Welcome to the File Library, a centralized space designed to help you efficiently store, organize, and manage your content. This feature is integral for creating and maintaining playlists, allowing you to access previously broadcast content and prepare new materials for future use. Whether you're curating content for digital signage, presentations, or internal communications, the File Library streamlines the process.
To keep your library tidy as it grows, you can organize your files into folders and subfolders, and move a folder to another location at any time.
Create a folder
Click on the "New Folder" button.
Fill out the folder details:
Once you've completed the form, click "Save" to create your folder.
Create a subfolder
Subfolders let you build a tree structure inside your library, for example one folder per site, with a subfolder per campaign or per department.
Open the folder in which you want to create the subfolder.
Click on the "New Folder" button.
Fill out the subfolder's Name and Access Rights, then click "Save".
The subfolder appears inside the parent folder. You can repeat these steps to create as many levels as you need.
đĄ Tip: keep your tree structure simple (two or three levels) so that you and your team can find content quickly when building playlists.
Edit a folder
Click the "Edit" button next to a folder to open the "Modify the folder" panel. From there, you can change at any time:
its name;
its location in the library (see Move a folder below);
its sharing and access rights.
Click "Save" to apply your changes.
Move a folder
If your organization changes, you can move a folder to another location in the library without re-uploading its content.
Click the "Edit" button next to the folder you want to move. The "Modify the folder" panel opens.
In the "Folder location" field, click the current location (for example, the name of the parent folder).
The "Location of" window opens and shows the folder's current location (for example, Library > Folder). Browse to the destination:
click a folder to open it and move the folder inside it;
click "â Library" to go back up one level, up to the root of the library.
The selected destination is shown at the bottom left of the window (for example, Library > Folder).
Click "Move". The new location now appears in the "Folder location" field.
Click "Save" to apply the change.
The folder is moved with all its content: its files and its subfolders keep the same structure in their new location.
â ď¸ The move only applies once you click "Save" in the "Modify the folder" panel. If you click "Cancel", the folder stays in its original location.
