Enabling Security Policy Consent on a Building

Updated today

Objective

It is possible to enable a security policy consent at the building level.

When this feature is activated, users registering on the visitor kiosk will see an additional step before completing their check-in. This step displays a customizable security policy text along with an “I accept” button to confirm their consent.

How it Works

Enabling this feature allows you to:

  • add a consent step in the visitor registration flow on the kiosk;

  • display a building-specific security policy;

  • require explicit user acceptance before proceeding.

In practice, when a visitor starts their registration on the kiosk:

  1. they follow the standard registration flow;

  2. an additional step appears displaying the security policy content;

  3. the visitor must click the “I accept” button to continue;

  4. once accepted, the process resumes and completes normally.

Configuration

This feature relies on two configurable elements at the building level:

Enable Security Policy Consent

  1. Go to your building's page.

  2. Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner and on "Edit":

  3. Scroll down the page to the Security Policy section:

  4. You can then enable the "security policy consent" option.
    And you can add your policies in the field.
    The security policy text can be customized to reflect site-specific or company-specific requirements.

Visitor Experience on the Kiosk

When the feature is enabled, visitors will encounter an additional step during their registration.

The consent screen includes:

  • the security policy text;

  • an “I accept” button.

The visitor must accept the policy to proceed.
Without this confirmation, the registration process cannot be completed.
