Using Data Source allows you to connect your own data to your template.
It could be an RSS feed, a database, Google Sheets, Excel, or CSV files.
Link your Data Source once, then the data displayed on your template will be updated automatically.
Video example with an Excel data source:
Step 1 - Connect a data source to Comeen Play
To start, you will need to connect a data source to Comeen Play before using it in the Designer.
If you have never done this step before, you can find out how to do this in the following documentation
https://support.comeen.com/hc/en-us/sections/6373149350301-Data-sources
Step 2 - Data formatting
1. The first step is to create the template with the design and data you want to display. You can add fake data to your elements for now, we will see how to map it to your data source in the next step.
2. Now, select your element to bind its value to your data source. In the properties panel, select "Data source" tab, and pick your data source.
3. Map the column of your data source with the element of your template.
ℹ️ Pagination allows you to distribute multiple rows from the data source. In our example, we will use line number one for the first article, and the second line for the second article.
4. Add the template to your playlist.
When you add the template to your playlist you can choose the number of pages you want to display. Each new page will increment your line number by one
With our example, it will look like this :
