While configuring your space into Comeen Workplace to use desk booking, you are able to set up and adjust seat policy with reminders and auto-release to fight ghost bookings.
From the admin settings, you can:
- ⏰ Choose when the notification to check-in is sent in the morning (and afternoon)
- ❌ Choose if no response cancels the reservation or not - and after how long
- 👋 Decide whether or not to send a reminder the day before (or the day you want) to remind the user of their presence
- ⏳ And also choose, if no response, that this cancels the booking for the d-day
The setting up on the admin side
To access those settings, go to your administration dashboard and click on the menu Settings then on the tab Presences.
Once in the office attendance settings, click on the button Seat reminders policy to open these settings.
For each option, you can switch it on or off by clicking on the buttons circled with red.
You can also change the time of each action according to your needs by clicking on the minus and plus buttons.
The action "Attendance confirmation reminder" allows you to send a confirmation reminder via our Google chat application. User will receive a reminder notification X day(s) before every scheduled office attendance at the time you choose.
The option "Automatic unconfirmed attendance cancellation" permits to cancel a presence if the user did not confirm his presence after an amount of time that you decide.
The "Morning check-in reminder" and "Afternoon check-in reminder" are notifications that are sent to users before each office attendance on mornings/afternoons at the time you choose.
The feature "Automatic cancellation of attendance with no check-in" is a way to automatically cancel an attendance remained unconfirmed (not checked-in). If users don't check-in X minutes after receiving the reminder notification, their office attendance is canceled.
