Prerequisites
Before getting started, make sure that:
You have the required permissions to add Extensions in Beekeeper.
You have the required permissions to add integrations in Comeen.
If you do not have these permissions in Comeen, you will need to ask a Comeen administrator to either:
Grant you the rights to add integrations, or connect the BeeKeeper integration on your behalf
How to connect Beekeeper to Comeen
Step 1 - Create Comeen Extension in Beekeeper
Go to the your Beekeeper administration platform.
Go to Extensions>Bot Accounts
Click on Add Bot Account

Step 2 - Create Beekeeper Integration in Comeen
Log in to your Comeen tenant.
Click on your Tenant name > Integrations
Click + Connect account
Locate BeeKeeper in the list of available integrations
Enter your Beekeeper Subdomain e.g. name.beekeeper.io
Enter your Beekeeper Comeen bot token created in step 1.Click Connect and Save at the bottom.
Your BeeKeeper account will be successfully connected.
Retrieve content from Beekeeper
Once the BeeKeeper integration is connected, BeeKeeper content is available in Comeen as data sources.
To create and manage them:
Go to the Data sources tab in Comeen
Click New Data source
Select the Beekeeper datasource
Select the stream whose posts you want to recover, or choose All Streams to recover posts from every stream.
You now have all your beekeeper datas . You can configure and manage them according to your needs. Each data source corresponds to content made available from Beekeeper and can then be used in your Comeen content and playlists.
Broadcast Beekeeper content
Create a template using beekeeper data
Once your Beekeeper data source is configured, you can use it inside a template to dynamically display Beekeeper content on your screens.
To create a template using Beekeeper data:
Go to Designer in Comeen.
Click New Template.
After deciding general settings, click Save
Choose a template or start from a blank layout, then add the elements you want to display (text, images, etc.).
Select an element in your template and open the Data Source tab in the properties panel.
Choose your Beekeeper data source and map the data fields to the template elements.
For example, you can connect:the title of a Beekeeper post to a text field
the image to an image component
the link to a QR code
Once connected, the template will automatically pull and update the content coming from Beekeeper.
