Display your LumApps news automatically on your digital signage screens. Once configured, Comeen continuously synchronizes your published news so your screens always show the latest content without any manual updates.
Prerequisites
A LumApps integration has already been connected to your Comeen workspace.
Adding the LumApps Content
From a Comeen playlist, click Add content.
Select LumApps, then LumApps news.
Configure your LumApps News content using the available options described below, then click Save to add it to your playlist.
General Settings
Content name: name used to identify this content within the playlist.
Display time: display duration in seconds for each news item (or for each page, if the content includes several).
Visibility: enables or disables this item in the playlist without deleting it.
Sites
LumApps Account: Select the LumApps account you want to use to retrieve and sync news.
Sites: Select one or multiple LumApps sites from which news articles will be retrieved.
Content Settings
Language mode
Manual selection: you choose the language of the displayed content.
Automatic selection: the content language automatically matches the language configured on the broadcast screen. A default language must be set it is used when the screen language is not available.
Number of News: Set the number of articles to broadcast on the screen.
Sorting: Choose which date field is used to order the news articles. Articles are always displayed from the most recent to the oldest based on the selected field.
Content Body Source: Choose the field used as the main paragraph of the displayed news. If the selected field is empty, Comeen automatically applies the following fallback order: summary â description â content.
Content Filters
Tags: Filter news articles based on one or more LumApps Tags.
Metadata: Filter news articles using LumApps Metadata.
Visibility: Filter by the visibility setting (Visible by) defined in LumApps.
Design
You can customize:
Primary color: color of the Shapes.
Background color.
Font color.
Logo.
