Before adding resources, you must first create a resource type.
A resource type defines:
How users can book the resource
How the resource appears in the interface
The booking duration rules
Examples include:
Parking
Lockers
Cafeteria Seats
Create a resource type
Configure the resource type
Fill in the following information:
General settings
Name: Enter the name of the resource type (e.g. Parking, Locker, ..)
Description: (Optional) Add a description to help users understand the purpose of the resource.
Bookable: Enable or disable booking for this resource type.
Booking unit: Choose the booking duration unit (minutes, hours, half-days, days). This setting determines how users search for and reserve resources. For example, if the booking unit is set to Days, users can only book the resource for full-day periods.
Booking duration: Define the default duration of each booking.
Design settings
Customize how the resource appears in the interface. These settings help users quickly identify resources on maps and lists:
Shape
Size
Color
Icon
2. Once all the settings are configured, click Save.
The new resource type will appear in the resource list.
Manage a resource type
You can update a resource type at any time.
From this page, you can modify:
General settings
Name
Description
Bookable status
Booking duration settings
Design settings
Shape
Size
Color
Icon
Delete a resource type
If a resource type is no longer needed, you can delete it.
⚠️ Deleting a resource type permanently removes it from the system.
