Create, Edit, or Delete a Bookable Resource Item

After creating a resource type, you can create and manage individually resource items directly from the resource type list.

Create a resource item

  1. In the Admin dashboard, navigate to the Resources tab

  2. Select the resource type you want to manage

  3. On the resource type page, click + New resource

  4. A creation modal is displayed; fill in the following information:

  • Name (required): Enter the resource name. This field is required.

  • ID (required): Enter the resource ID. This field is required and corresponds to the resource sync_id. This ID has to be unique.

  • Location: Select the resource location. You can define the building, floor, and area. This field can be left empty.

  • User: Select a user by email from the searchable dropdown list.

  • Available for booking: Enable or disable booking availability for this resource.

5. Once all required fields are filled in, click Save.

The resource is created, the modal closes, the new resource appears in the list, and a confirmation message is displayed.

Edit a resource item

You can update an existing resource item at any time.

  1. In the Resources tab, go to the resource type you are interested in.

  2. Click the pen icon of the item you want to modify

3. An edit modal is displayed with the current resource information already filled in.

From the edit modal, you can modify:

  • Name

  • ID

  • Location

  • Assigned user email

  • Availability for booking

4. Once your changes are complete, click Save.

Delete a resource

If a resource is no longer needed, you can delete it.

⚠️ Deleting a resource permanently removes it from the resource list.

  1. In the Resources tab, go to the resource type you are interested in.

  2. Click the bin icon of the item you want to delete

After confirming the deletion, the modal closes, and you are returned to the resource type page. A confirmation message indicates that the item has been deleted.
