Updated yesterday
reseller-certif.jpg

Welcome to Today's reseller certification!πŸ‘‹

In order to confirm your interest for our feature Today, you will have to go through this certification and to pass the exam associated to it.

We thought it to help you improve your understanding of Today and to help you adopt the best sales process.

It is also a way for us to make sure our partnership starts on solid foundations and will last for long hopefully.

When you have read all the following documentation and feel confident enough about presenting Today to a potential customer, go to the exam section.

You will have to organize a meeting with us as if we were your prospect. And then, just like with a lead, you will have to identify our needs, to present Today and to initiate the sales process (meeting's follow-up, trial's proposition, etc).

Certification validity: 1 year

Certification ownership: a company can be certified when, at least, one employee is certified. If the employee leaves the company, the company has to retake certification in the two following months.

🀝 Today - Typical Sales Process for Google Workspace

Our solution Comeen Workplace provides a feature to implement hybrid work in a company called Today. If your lead is looking for a tool that is covering office attendance management and hot desk booking that's great news!

Identify potential leads

Since you're a Google Workspace reseller, every customer of yours using Google Workspace is a potential lead.

Focus on company:

  • with at least 500 employees,

  • that have more office workers than front line workers,

  • with which you have a great and established relationship,

  • that are mature on Google Workspace.

Once you have a list of potential leads, you'll have to find the right interlocutor.

You're probably already talking to the IT team, they can be a good target for the first meeting.

Usually, the best interlocutors are:

  • HR team,

  • IT/HRIS team,

  • IT/Google Workspace team.

The first point of contact can be by email or by Linkedin.

You can use this ready-to-use template:

Hi John,

I hope you're doing great!

As you've probably seen on LinkedIn, Google Workspace Genius is partnering with a company called Comeen.

Comeen is the hybrid work platform for Google Workspace.

The user experience is based on a Google Calendar Add-on that'll help your team plan in-office days, book a desk and more.

The platform helps your company manage building capacity, hybrid work setup (min/max in-office days), etc.

I would love to present you Comeen in a 30 minute session.

What do you think?

Best regards,

Benjamin.

If the person gets back to you, you'll need to setup a 1st meeting.

Congratulations, you can go to the next step! πŸ™‚

    • What is Comeen?

    • What did they think about the product?

    • Are they interested in trying the product?

Comeen's trial

You'll need someone in your team with the certification Certified Integrator - Today for Google Workspace to setup the trial.

Since Today is easy and quick to deploy, proposing a Comeen's trial to your lead can be a great way to show them:

  • how it's indeed easy and quick to deploy

  • how the adoption is going on the targeted audience for the trial

  • how their needs are met thanks to our tool

Initiation of the trial

As a certified reseller, we expect from you that you accompany your lead during the whole trial process:

  1. First step, you need to gather all the project's information (number of users, duration of the trial, features used, objectives of the trial, stake-holders and decision makers, etc) and make sure the trial will answer all prospect's needs and expectations

  2. Then you will help them create a Today account

  3. When your lead's account is created, help them to set up the tool to their needs thanks to this video

  4. Help them onboard the concerned employees and communicate about Comeen to the rest of the company with our Success and Communication Plan

Trial's interests

When a company has implemented Today for a trial, it's really easy for them to go on a global deployment. You just need to deploy the add-on for everyone.

When employees will start using Today during the trial, if they like it and they will, it'll be hard for the company to turn back. If you really want to close a deal, proposing a trial is the key.

Regarding the trial, we have only one rule: a duration of 4 weeks maximum. Anything else is unlimited.

The more users you deploy on Today, the harder it will be for the company to turn back.

Once a customer has agreed to do a trial:

  1. Do a copy of this document (ask access if needed),

  2. Customize it with customer's logo and name,

  3. Share it with the customer team.

This document presents:

  • The Comeen trial deployment and final deployment process between you and the customer.

  • A ready-to-use communication plan for your customer. The best your customer communicates about Today with his company, the more Today will be adopted.

  • When should I propose a trial?

β†’ As soon as your lead seems interested and mature enough. Adoption is key to convince your leads of Today usefulness. By bringing Today inside the tools employees already know and use every day, we're maximising the chance to have a great adoption.

  • How long is the trial?

β†’ The trial can last 4 weeks at the maximum, you can make i shorter if you think it would be enough but not longer. The more a company gets used to a tool and learns to see its value the more they'll be inclined to keep it so we recommend to do between 2 and 4 weeks trial.

  • Should I invoice the trial?

β†’ You won't invoice the trial because it is free so your prospects won't be afraid of paying for a trial of our solution. Therefore, you must encourage your prospects to deploy Today on as many people as possible so the adoption and the implementation will be easier if your lead decides to go for our solution.

  • What's included in the trial?
⚠️ Of course you shall only deploy what's relevant for your prospect

β†’ A full access to Comeen services for a maximum period of 4 weeks:

  • Today Starter/Business : employee app + administration dashboard

  • Rooms : administration dashboard + notifications

  • Visitors : administration dashboard + notifications

  • Comeen Play : signage platform

  • Our support live chat

  • Our help documentation (articles and videos)

Security and GDPR review

During the evaluation process of Comeen, you'll probably need to go through a security and GDPR review. Here is the list of resources usually needed. If your customer is asking not listed resources, feel free to reach out.

Getting to know Comeen's competitors

Today isn't the only office attendance management tool on the market. Most of our competitors are desk booking tools (we also provide desk booking features) which means that they can only be used if your customer wants to implement desk booking. Today is more global since a company needs to manage office attendance for every employee and use desk booking only on certain buildings, floors and areas.

Above all, Comeen Workplace is the only solution fully integrated with Google Workspace. πŸ˜‰

Here is an analysis of our competitors that we've already seen during a pre-sales process.

This comparison document should help you better understand how we're different.

πŸŽ“ The exam

The session will be recorded.

Once you feel ready, reach out by email.

Act like if we were one of your customers.
An employee from Comeen pretends to be in charge of collaboration tools in a company you're reselling Google Workspace to.

You have to convince him to accept a Today presentation.

During the meeting he will act like a potential lead.

You'll have 30 minutes to convince him to go further with you.

You'll have to fill the Comeen - Project qualification template and you'll send it to him by email after the presentation.

You'll have to send him (in a separate email), a follow up email as if he was a real lead.

He will get back to you after that to set up a debriefing meeting.

If everything went well, you'll become a Today - Certified Reseller.

Congratulations! πŸ”₯

πŸš€Announcement

Once you've succeeded in the exam, the last step of the program is to announce the certification on LinkedIn.

The announcement through your LinkedIn company page is mandatory. The certified person can also post the message with his own LinkedIn account. The more you communicate on the partnership, the more we'll both have visibility.πŸ™‚
