How to Display a Floor Plan of Your Meeting Rooms

Displaying a floor plan of your meeting rooms can significantly enhance the efficiency of your workspace by optimizing room bookings and utilization.

This process begins in Comeen Workplace, where you configure the necessary elements like buildings, floors, and meeting rooms.

Once everything is set up in Workplace, you transition to Comeen Play to display the floor plan on digital signage. This guide will walk you through each step to ensure a seamless setup.

1. Setting Up in Comeen Workplace

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have created the following in Comeen Workplace:

  1. Building: Refer to the Create buildings documentation.

  2. Meeting Rooms: Make sure your meeting rooms are configured. First, synchronize your rooms (either through Google Workspace or Microsoft 365), then place them on your floor plan. You can learn how to from this article.

Creating a Signage in Comeen Workplace

  1. Navigate to the Signage tab in your Admin Dashboard

  2. Select + Create Signage

  3. Enter a Name for your new signage and choose Plan for the template

  4. Select the Building you wish to display. Then choose whether the entire building will be available for viewing or only some of its floors. Finish by setting up the Viewing preference, Rooms options, and Desks options, and click on Create signage

  5. Once created, a Link will be available. This link will be used in Comeen Play in the next steps

2. Setting Up in Comeen Play

  1. Create a Playlist: Log into Comeen Play and create a new playlist. Here is how.

  2. Add Web Content: In the playlist, add content using the URL obtained from your signage in Comeen Workplace.
