This guide will help you understand how to restrict access to your digital signage players by using whitelisted IP addresses. By implementing IP whitelisting, you can safeguard your content and displays from unauthorized access.
This feature is especially useful for organizations that want to ensure only devices connected to their trusted networks can access their Players.
⚠️ Warning: Ensure that all trusted networks are added to the whitelist before enabling this feature. Failure to do so may result in unintended access restrictions.
How to restrict access to only Whitelisted IPs
Log in to your Comeen space.
Access the Settings section from the main menu.
In the Settings menu, select the Authorized IP Addresses tab.
Click on the Add IP Address button.
Enter the IP address you want to authorize.
Provide a descriptive name for the IP address (e.g., "Office Network").
Locate the option to enable IP whitelisting.
Review the warning message that appears, which explains the implications of activating this feature.
Click Confirm.
ℹ️ Information: Once you’ve completed the steps above, IP whitelisting will be successfully activated for your space. From this point onward, only devices connected through authorized IP addresses will be able to access your Comeen players and content. Any unauthorized access attempts will result in a message indicating that the IP is not permitted.
